Do You Need to Pay Up Front for Online Orders?

Whether you buy wine online or do your grocery shopping online, you will most probably need to make an upfront payment. Online shopping usually requests payment up front and this may be done in order to protect them from prank orders or from customers who are not able to pay for their order. The flip side to this may be that an honest customer may pay up front for an order from a supplier who does not intend on delivering and the customer may be cheated out of their money. There are many criminals out there who prey on unsuspecting people and the internet is used very often for this. When customers pay for their orders online they may even use their credit cards and this may end up being a mistake when the credit card details end up in the wrong hands. Credit card fraud is very possible and you may only find out you have been robbed when you receive statements.

Online Wine Clubs

When it comes to online wine clubs we’re often asked if we can suggest one type of wine blend, which should be included more often than it normally is.

The answer in that case is usually pretty easy: GSM.

In the wine world GSM is a Grenache Syrah and Mouvedre blend, three grapes which have been grown and blended together for hundreds of years in the Rhone Valley of France. These are “BIG” wines, which pair well with BBQ and other grilled meats. Certainly they cannot be paired with seafood or even chicken. The Syrah adds a spicyness to the blend, while the Grenache makes it fairly easy to drink and relatively subtle on flavors. Mouvedre is the one wine which is almost never made into a varietal specific wine, instead it is slightly bitter and only used in small amounts because it adds an amazing dark purple color to the wine.
